Serving the needs of the care homes sector

“Serving the needs of the care homes sector”

We have within our corporate, commercial property and employment departments a specialist Care Homes Legal Team whose members have particular knowledge and experience of working with businesses in the care homes sector.

We advise on a full range of issues ranging from the day to day commercial and employment issues that arise in the care sector through to the acquisition or disposal of care homes or the financing and development of new-build projects.

We currently act for several care home groups as well as owners of single homes and we have recently completed numerous sales and purchases on behalf of our clients.

Key work areas include:

  • Care home acquisitions and disposals
  • Finance and security documentation
  • New-build projects and developments
  • Leases and sale and leasebacks
  • Resident contracts
  • Supplier contracts
  • Transfer of Undertaking Regulations (TUPE)
  • Drafting employment contracts
  • Redundancy and unfair dismissal issues
