Ryan completed his training contract at Lee & Priestley and qualified as a solicitor in 2009.

Ryan deals with a wide range of contentious and non-contentious Intellectual Property and Commercial Law matters, including  a variety of licence, assignment, consultancy and IT agreements; along with copyright and trade mark disputes.

Ryan has a particular interest in new business ventures and jointly developed the firm's "Business Start-Up Package" which provides tailored legal advice to developing enterprises. He is also a pro-bono legal advisor to a local community-led enterprise in Leeds.

Outside the office Ryan enjoys playing the guitar, reading and going to the gym.
