Andrea joined Lee & Priestley in 1992 as a qualified solicitor. She became a partner in 1994 and in 1999 was promoted to Head of Department.

Having always specialised in family law, Andrea's particular expertise lies in financial issues arising in a wide variety of family law areas. With her wealth of experience, together with a reputation for her sympathetic approach, Andrea represents a variety of professional and private clients during the emotive times of divorce and separation, when sensible legal advice is at a premium.

Andrea's work covers the broad spectrum of family law including complex financial settlements, representation in divorce proceedings and the drafting of separation and pre nuptial agreements, as well as litigating cohabitation disputes. Andrea's presence in the matrimonial legal scene is confirmed by her being acknowledged by the Law Society as an accredited specialist in financial disputes. A long standing member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association - SFLA), she is regularly instructed by many high net worth clients (often in the owner managed business sector) in divorce cases, where the assets often run into millions of pounds and where high quality advice is essential.

Andrea also represents clients in disputes concerning children. She represented Mr and Mrs A in the paternity case where, during fertility treatment, unauthorised sperm was used by mistake, resulting in the birth of mixed race twins. This particular case attracted significant and national media coverage.
