Louise qualified at Clyde & Co in London and a year later moved to Addleshaw Goddard where she worked for seven years before joining Lee & Priestley.

Louise specialises in IP and IT. IP experience includes commercialisation and defence of all IP (including patents, trademarks, copyright and design rights) including drafting patent and trade mark licences and assignments. Louise drafts and negotiates IT/Telecoms agreements, including software licences and IT outsourcing. She also advises on all areas of e-trading including terms and conditions of sale and privacy statements.

General commercial experience includes franchise and all other commercial agreements.

Louise Handley has been recognised as a leader in her field in Chambers UK 2009.

The Legal 500 2006 says Louise is "lauded as 'a jewel in the firm's crown'."

Louise is married with two young sons and enjoys swimming and walking with the family.
