Jonathan qualified at Allen & Overy in 1990. He was also a former partner at Addleshaw Goddard.

He specialises in venture capital and private equity, turnaround and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. He joined Lee & Priestley in 2004 as a partner in the Corporate Department and has recently become Head of our Department.

Jonathan has said that he became a solicitor because he enjoys the close solicitor/client relationship and the experience of advising businesses with different business models. He is particularly interested in the law relating to the investment structure and its return.

His personal interests include shooting, fly fishing, rugby, poultry and equestrian sports.
