Volunteers from Lee & Priestley have gone back to the classroom to help local children improve their reading skills. The scheme, set up and run through the Learning Partnership, aims to help improve reading standards in primary schools, with particularly emphasis on schools in inner city Leeds.

Further details have been released by the Equality Office of the new Equalities Bill which is set to consolidate all current discrimination legislation.

Article: Flexible Working to be Extended (13/06/2008)
Flexible working rights are to be extended to parents of children up to the age of sixteen following recommendations from an independent review.
