The Selection Process
The firm is not considering applications for Training Contracts at the current time.
At interview you will need to be confident and well presented. You must demonstrate drive and ambition, good knowledge of the current developments in law and current affairs, an understanding of the legal profession and our particular clients and services.
Each year we receive as many as 1,000 applications for a training contract. We will select approximately 30 of these applicants to attend a "speed interview". This is not as gimmicky as it sounds.
First impressions count. At this initial interview you will be asked to say a few words about yourself in front of the group. You will then be given a light hearted group presentation subject on anything from Coronation Street to caravan drivers, with one hour to prepare your presentation.
Prior to the group presentation, you will be interviewed on an individual basis by two of the partners of the firm. Throughout the whole process you will have the opportunity to speak to other members of staff and our current trainees. We will then select ten of you to come back for a formal interview.
