Lee & Priestley Recruit Commercial Litigation Specialist

Lee & Priestley LLP, the Leeds-based law firm, has appointed Matthew Morton as a commercial litigation solicitor. The firm is once again bucking the trend in its marketplace by recruiting to further strengthen its team, and develop its capability.

Matthew joins Lee & Priestley from Emsleys in Leeds, where he worked as an Associate Solicitor and where the bulk of his caseload focused on commercial litigation. He gained extensive experience working on a range of high value litigation matters for commercial clients and also worked on a number of Employment related cases.

After graduating from Hull University, Matthew completed his Legal Practice and Professional Skills courses at The College of Law, York.

He worked initially as a Trainee Solicitor at Rice Jones gaining a wide base of legal experience in Property, Family Law, Probate and Litigation.

Matthew, who holds a Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award, enjoys a range of outdoor pursuits is fitness conscious and is a keen squash player.
